Four Seasons hotel in NYC is giving free rooms to doctors treating the pandemic

Doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel can stay in these luxury rooms, which often run for over $1000

The Four Seasons hotel in New York City, which has stopped taking reservations in the face of the Coronavirus outbreak, has offered its luxury suites to doctors, nurses, and other medical personnel free of charge.

“Many of those working in New York City have to travel long distances to and from their homes after putting in 18-hour days,” said Ty Warner, the founder and chairman of Ty Warner Hotels and Resorts, which owns the property. “They need a place close to work where they can rest and regenerate.”

Warner, who originally made his billion dollar fortune as the creator of Beanie Babies, has announced that the hotel is closed to new bookings until April 15th.
