2020 has been rough but there's plenty of things to look forward to, especially if you're a fan of Lifetime Christmas Movies. This year, the channel is releasing a record-breaking 30 Christmas movies. These films will also be landmark in other ways. For the first-time ever, Lifetime's holiday movie lineup includes a same-sex couple, a Chinese-American family, and a lead actor in a wheelchair.
Starting Friday, October 23,, the same day as Hallmark's "Countdown to Christmas", you can watch movies starring fan favorites like Mario Lopez, Melissa Joan Hart, and Kelly Rowland as part of their annual programming event, "It's a Wonderful Lifetime." Lifetime's Christmas movie event lasts all the way through Christmas, bringing around-the-clock hits — some old, some new — so you can stay in the spirit all season long.
So get your cocoa ready, make a little snuggle groove on your couch, and get ready to enjoy the kind of cheer we desperately need in 2020. New movies debut on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights at 8 p.m. Once Thanksgiving hits, Lifetime is showing brand-new movies on Monday nights.
Here are just a few that we're looking forward to.
